FAQ

Questions, answered plainly

If what you need is not here, the contact form goes to a person, not a ticket queue.

Is Wolf Eclipse a gambling game?

No. There is no wagering, no real-money play, no cash prizes and nothing to buy. The nightly moon dial looks like a wheel, and we understand why that invites the question, so it is built to four rules that make it the opposite of one: nothing is staked, every spin pays, it cannot be bought, and the day decides the prize — the same prize for everyone, on every device.

Are there in-app purchases?

None. There is no store page, no currency pack and no premium wolf. Every wolf, skin and supply is bought with Gold you earned by running. The app ships without a payments framework at all.

Are there ads?

No advertising of any kind — no banners, no interstitials, and no rewarded video. The app loads no advertising SDK, so there is nothing to turn off.

Does it need an internet connection?

No. The whole game runs on your device, including the nightly dial. You can play it on a plane for a fortnight and nothing will be missing.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up, no email, no social login. Your progress is stored on your phone and nowhere else.

What happens to my data?

Your progress, your wolf pack and your name stay on your device. We run no analytics and no crash-reporting service. The only time anything reaches us is if you write to us yourself — and then it is only what you typed. The Privacy Policy sets this out in full.

Which iPhones does it run on?

It is built for iOS and tested from an iPhone SE up. Everything is checked at the SE's screen size, including with larger text sizes turned on, so nothing is cut off on a small phone.

Is there an Android version?

Not at launch, and none is currently planned. If that changes it will be announced here first.

How long is the game?

Thirteen hunts along the Moonlight Forest trail, each longer and denser than the last. Finishing them all is one thing; taking three stars on every one is a good deal more.

What are the four currencies for?

Gold buys supplies and skins. Moon Crystals feed the Eclipse Meter and buy the rarer things. Wolf Essence levels a wolf. Eclipse Tokens come only from the Eclipse itself and from the dial. None of them can be bought with money or exchanged for it.

Can I turn off the sound and the haptics?

Both, independently, in Settings inside the app. The setting is remembered between launches.

Something is broken. Who do I tell?

There is a Contact Support form in the app, under Settings, which lets you attach a screenshot. Or write to support@wolfeclipse.example — a real person reads it.
